MURRAY & ROBERTS SUBSIDIARY CLOUGH, PART OF JOINT VENTURE,
SELECTED AS PREFERRED TENDERER FOR THE MULTI-BILLION AUSTRALIAN
DOLLAR CIVIL WORKS PACKAGES FOR SNOWY 2.0 PROJECT

Murray & Roberts is pleased to announce that the Clough Salini Joint Venture, has been
selected as preferred tenderer for the estimated AU$4 billion civil works packages for the
Snowy 2.0 project. Snowy 2.0 is a multi-year infrastructure project. Clough is a wholly owned
subsidiary of Murray & Roberts and has a 35% shareholding in this joint venture.

The Group’s strategy to extend Murray & Roberts’ Oil & Gas platform’s service offering to
complementary markets with active investment programmes is of critical importance,
considering the current lack of project opportunities in the Australasian LNG sector.

Salini and its US affiliate Lane, are world leaders in hydro power developments, which
combined with Clough, creates a joint venture capability that will deliver the project for the
benefit of the Australian community.
