CHANGE TO THE BOARD – RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

The board of directors of Ascendis Health (“the Board”) advises shareholders that Mr Gary
John Shayne, a non-executive director, has resigned from the Board with effect from 31 March
2019.

The Board would like to thank Gary for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well
in his future endeavours.
